The company is the imagination of Sara Ellis.

Sara originally trained as a computer programmer and has successfully started two businesses with her husband. More recently Sara was a partner in the Wedding & Events related business Not Just For Hire. After much soul searching Sara decided to go out on her own and To Have & To Hire Events was born.

Sara has worked tirelessly over the last 3 years for Not Just For Hire. Over the last year has brought 92 couples dreams to life. She has even be featured in OK magazine for a celebrity wedding! The moto for To Have & To Hire Events Ltd is You Imagine, We Create!

From the moment you place an inquiry with us, you can expect to receive a highly personal service. Whether you are hiring items from us or planning your whole day. To Have & To Hire Events, you’re important to us. We work closely with lots of venues and we will be available and stay in contact (with you and your venue) throughout the process, so you don’t feel abandoned. Communication is key!

What services do we offer?

Decor and Dressing Service

We offer a professional decor service for weddings and events. We have decorated many stunning venues including Long Furlong Barn, The Countryside Wedding Company at Tulleys Farm, Fitzerloi Barn,

Southend Barns, Winchester Guild Hall and many more. We also work with some stunning marquee and tent companies including Tentario, Love Tipi's, Inside Outside Marquees and Tents and Events to name just a few. We can supply chair covers, backdrops, large scale ceiling decorations including Hanging Lanterns and fairy lights. The list that we supply is endless. We are also recommended installers for the amazing Hanging Lantern Company.

Hire Service

For those more creative people who want to get involved themselves. We also offer a dry hire service of products. We will still work with you to get the elements together to create the look. We will then hire the items to you so you can create the look. We will also give you tips and advice on installation.

Planning Service

If you are struggling to bring all the elements together for your event. We can help. We offer a full wedding planning service and work closely with lots of local suppliers that we would recommend and trust.

Venue Management

We offer a venue management service and even have our very own venue for hire. We have a large field nestled in the Sussex countryside that we rent out for weddings and events.
