Planning a Christmas Wedding - tips and tricks

The C word, yes how dare we speak it so soon. But if you are having a winter wedding you will be in a planning frenzy now. At THTH we love a winter wedding, especially a Christmas one.

Here are our tips and advice:

Check with your venue what Christmas decor if any they install.

Most venues add some decor over Christmas, find out what it is and when it goes up and see if you can co-ordinate.

As it gets darker earlier use lots of light, tealights and fairy lights add great atmosphere and also make it feel really cosy, maybe go for some festive scented candles.

If opting for flowers consider something your guest a take away and keep over the festive period, these flower rings could easily be reused by your guests at home.

Drapes can also make a venue look very winter wonderland!

For arrival drinks have mulled wine and don't forget the mince pies!

Most importantly embrace the time of year you have chosen to get married, it's a magical time.
