Vintage Afternoon Tea

Who does not love a afternoon tea.  Scrummy sandwiches, savouries, cakes and scones. Whether it be for a wedding, a birthday party or a baby shower people love to incorporate this into their event.  But how do you continue the feel throughout your event.

Vintage crockery is a great way to add the real afternoon tea feeling.  Gone are the days of matching crockery.  Vintage mismatch crockery is very on trend.  We have a huge selection to hire including crockery, cake stands and more.

Bunting eeks vintage.  Drape it around your venue either in lines, diagonally across the room or even around the walls of the venue.

If you wish to provide your guests with an alternative to tea and coffee why not offer cocktails using our kilner drinks dispensers and glasses or event serve cocktails in teapots, very mad hatter style!

Hire a sweetie cart  or create a sweetie table with crates and vintage jars.  Provide your guests with stripey bags to match the theme.  

If your event is a wedding.  Hire one of our rustic chalkboard crates.  Place it upside down and use as your cake stand.  Write the name of the happy couple and the date of the wedding as a quirky alternative to a normal cake stand.

When it comes to centrepieces, if you are having afternoon tea you need to keep this to a minimum and easily moveable.  We would suggest bird cages.  These look great with either candles inside or if you want to add a floral touch have flowers placed inside.
